Lunar Computing, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") develops the Brain Dump iOS app. This Privacy Policy explains how Brain Dump handles information when you use the app.
Brain Dump records and transcribes on your device. Voice notes never leave your iPhone. If you are signed in to iCloud, transcripts sync through your own private iCloud, which we cannot see.
Brain Dump is designed around local, on-device storage. Depending on which features you use, the app may store:
This data is used to provide app functionality and is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with data brokers.
You can revoke iOS permissions at any time in Settings. Some app features may stop working after a required permission is revoked.
Transcripts, tags and park-for-tomorrow flags sync through your private iCloud container when iCloud is on. Audio files stay on the device.
Apple controls iCloud account authentication and CloudKit infrastructure. We do not receive your Apple ID password, payment information, or private iCloud account credentials.
Brain Dump Pro is an auto-renewing subscription processed by Apple and checked with RevenueCat using an anonymous ID. We never receive your Apple ID or payment details.
Depending on the features you use, Brain Dump may interact with:
Third-party services process data according to their own privacy policies. We only use them for app functionality, entitlement verification, system permissions, or user-requested actions.
Brain Dump is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Any journalling, reference, or study content is provided for personal use and self-reflection only. It should not be used to diagnose, treat, prevent, or make decisions about a health condition.
